Young Voices, Ancient Traditions
Since November 2024, the Proud Little Warriors have stood as a testament to the endurance of Squamish culture.
Comprised of six dedicated boys aged 10 to 11, this group bridges the gap between the past and the present. By channeling the spirit of their ancestors through song and drum, they ensure that the rich history of the Squamish Nation continues to thrive in the hands of the next generation.
"They are more than just performers; they are role models. By embracing their heritage openly and proudly, they inspire other youth to connect with their own roots."
From community gatherings to viral moments on Grouse Mountain, these young men carry the responsibility of their culture with dignity and pride.
Sharing songs of peace, unity, and respect with the world.
Performing traditional songs that foster unity and gratitude.
To set positive intentions and ground events in respect.
Representing the Squamish Nation with dignity and honor.
